can you elaborate on the egyption theme? Also is can't be uber expensive since my parents already paid for a bat mitzvah a while ago..thanks.

Well. You can always get some cheap gold fabrics and JoAnne's, or stuff like HobbyLobby. Also, you could go to a costume store like Party City, where they sell costumes for $20 or so.
Looks up how Egyptians wore eye make-up and copy it with your eyeliner. Get a yellow or gold colored cake.
You can play whatever music you'd like, just have your guests dress up as egyptians. You make creative head pieces with the most simple things.

Egyptian men wore eye make-up as well, so you could try to get the boys to be daring enough to wear some.
