Could someone please explain to me how to make a voicepost on livejournal.com? I've looked all over the faqs and tutorials on the site but I can't find anything that explains how to do it.

Heya.
To make a Voice Post on LJ, first you HAVE to have a PAID, PERMENANT or SPONSERD + account. The paid and permanent accounts cost money, but the sponsored accounts are free--you'll just see ads on LJ and in your journal. It will also mess up your layout if you're using S1 or even some S2 style layouts...and a lot of LJ users don't like ads. But if you've got the proper account type:

Essentially, you just have to pick a phone number and an ID number and then you have to call a certain number that will let you post...but those can be long-distance depending on where you live.
