does anyone own an acer laptop? and if so, does it run well? I just bought one, and i can't find much on it. i have the model: AS3009WLCi.

does anyone know what it is? and is acer overall a good computer company?

i have an acer notebook and we happen to have the same model =] it's an exceptional notebook, especially for the price. I purchased mine for just $799.99. It is a great deal, plus it comes with many programs. When you turn it on the first time, they ask you to burn a backup CD, which will require 4 blank discs. This is good because your computer is saved if you get a bad virus. Overall, acer is a great company. They arent as big as Sony and Dell, but they are great. I have had no problems [that had to do with the computer itself] so far, and I have had my computer for 9 months. Oh, and if you happen to spill a cup of water on it, dont worry. Just wipe it down, make sure the USB ports and other things that lead directly into the computer, and the screen are dried a.s.a.p. Then just leave it off for a while, and it will be fine. I am talking from experience, just so you know. My computer has been put through a lot of damage because of me being the clumsy person I am, but through all that it still strives and goes above and beyond its expectations.
