my bestfriends parents are mean to her..they dont hit her but they call her names and stuff..she called me crying hard and i know she cant take it! and i need to know how to help her..any ideas??

I, too, have been through this with my best friend. What I did was told my science teacher (last year) and we practicaly dragged her down to guidance. She said she'd only go if I was there with her the entire time. Well, we talked to the guidance counselors and the nurse. The nurse called DSS who sent one of their counselors to inspect the home and talk with the family (her, her mom, and her dad). Luckily, her parents realized what they were doing and put their act together.
While her case did invovle physical abuse, you could apply the method to your best friend's case. Talk to somebody!
