To all people who have read the book "A Separate Peace" or watched the movie:

Anyone else think Gene wanted to be "more" than Finny's friend? or they were actually "more" than friends? if you catch my drift.

though neither Gene nor Finny appears to be homosexual, the book has definite homosexual undertones. get a good critical analysis dealing with psychoanalysis and a separate peace from your local library. a psychoanalytic criticist would suggest that Gene is harboring repression of his homosexual tendencies.

(Rating: 5) oh no this isn't for an essay. I was just extremely curious. It really seems like they would be homosexual. I expressed my opinion in class but my teacher told me it wasn't an appropriate subject.
