He's one of my closest friends and I don't want to lose the friendship. I've gone out with him before and he told me that he broke up with me because I'm not supposed to date until I'm 16(i'm 13) and he didn't want to get me into trouble. because I would be in trouble trust me. my mom is strict. and We got into trouble because of something and now my mom thinks he is just a trouble maker but I know he's not... I guess you could say I'm to shy to ask him out again. when he's around his friends he says he doesn't like me but I think he does. but i'm STILL to scaried he'll say no and not be my friend anymore. He is VERY truthful

Oh trust me I know exactly what you mean I am 13 and can't date til 16. I would suggest sneaking around, going to the movies with maybe a few girls and meeting them there. Or going to the mall with a group of people so your mom has no idea. I would ask him out and explain that to him. Then, I would explain to your mom he's not a bad kid and she should trust you and have her get to know him. U know, have him over and stuff so she can see his personality.
