hii! well today for the first time i tried putting a tampon in..i think its tampax pearl or something like that..and im not sure if i should like wear pads still to school or try to keep using tampons..because it took me awhile to get it in..since it was my first time..but then im scared that i wont be able to put it in again in school..but tampons are sooo much nicer! also the only scary thing is my period is SOOO heavy..its unbelieveable and i cant use the super absorbant ones because my mom only bought the regular ones and then since i just started using then i dont wanna start withh the super ones..i wanna try and get use to them! i think it would be easier on me for gym class..rather than using a pad im just scared that it will leak..since its super heavy and im using a regular tampax..and that if i have to change it during school..i willbe late to class and i wont be able to get it in..what do u think i should do?? because i like tampons alot..its like you dont even have your period! ahh im soo confused..any help?? suggestions?? what would u do?..thanks!! Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you....first off i know exactly what you mean..tampons are WAYY better lol! Well since you just started you dont want to use supers yet...first get used to tampons...alot of girls have trouble the first few times...but dont worry..for me i had no trouble at all so try putting one in again nd you'll get the hang of it. You could be having problems beacause of the position your in. The easiest way for me to put one in is to take my pants all the way down and then stand with my legs way apart....some girls do it sitting down but I find standing the easiest. Also make sure you push it in until your fingers are touching you...because the first few times when i put tmapons in i didnt realize i wasnt putting them in far enough and I would start feeling really uncomfortable down there. Now the issue of leaking...since you dont wanna use supers yet...wear regulars but also wear a thin panty liner...they're way better than pads...and thats what i use if I'm worried. Once you get used to tampons...try buying tampons that are made for juniors....they have all the sizes but they make the applicators a little skinnier...they're especially made for girls who have just started. You wanna get a skinnier tampon because your still very tight down there...but if you wanna go straight for the normal supers go for it...you might have trouble pushing in the tampon the 1st time though, but take your time and relax and it will go in...and once you get it in the first time..you wont have any problems in the future!
