Hey there. Ask away whatever you want answered and I'll do my best. Please avoid unconventional capitalization and spelling - it makes the questions harder to read and so I'm less likely to answer.

Okay, my knee is terribly, terribly swollen. =( There aren't any (bone) structual problems, since I can walk. This just happened within the past 24 hours, so I will be watching it closely over the next few days.
What I need to know is:
1) Bathtime: hot water or cold water?
2) If showering it not the purpose, should I even bother soaking it? Would soaking it even be of any help?
3) Should I ice it, or is that a waste of time?
4) Keep it elevated, right? If so, how high does it must be? (link)

I'm not sure about the water temp making a difference since even in the bath you should keep it elevated if possible.
Yes, ice it. It'll make the swelling go down a little at least. After you've iced it for about a day (with breaks of course) then start alternating heat and ice at intervals of about 20-30 min with 20 min breaks in between.
Elevation should be above or near the height of your heart. If you're laying down, that'll be a lot easier to do. However, if you're sitting up, just stick a large mound of pillows under your lower leg to hold it up. If you find that height uncomfortable, lower it. Exact height isn't important, but keeping some elevation to it and staying off it is.
Hope you feel better :)

Wow, oh my!! That was beyond helpful!! The swelling was due to a multi mile walk, and thanks to your wonderful dedicated time and advice.. the swelling is now gone, and everything is seemingly fine. (: Thanks so much! You were of big assistance!!
