In between haircuts I often cut my own split ends off. Like if I happen to see one I'll just grab a pair of scissors and cut it off. Is this bad? All my friends tell me I shouldn't do this, butI thought cutting them off was a good thing. (link)

mm. i think thats totally fine. i personally cut my own hair all the time. i have a lot of friends who do too and its never been a problem.
