I am a Christian, and I love giving advice, so you can be anonymous or not, I would just love to hear from you! My friends tell me that I am a great person to come to for advice. I seem to know just what to say. I don't know. =) I love listening to people and problems. I just don't like being in the middle of them; I do choose sides if I absolutely have to. I want to be a Social worker or a counseling Psychologist someday. I am a senior in high school, and I start college in August of '06. I'm in band, and choir. I play French horn and sing alto. I have been through a lot with friends/family and even though I haven't, I feel like I've seen it all, so I hope I can help!

So my girlfriend and I have been going out for about a month now (we are 16 years old). She is a very open person and shares a lot with me, but I am not so open of a person. So always complains that I am not contributing enough to the conversation when ever I talk to her. I am not sky or anything around her, I am very confortable around her. I need some advice, how is a person suppost to open up to another person? I want to, I just don't know how. :'(

I love this question. If she is a girl that feels comfortable enough to talk to you about everything going in her life, and if you feel like you can trust her, start out small like you have. If there is something she mentions that you feel like you could relate to in your life now or in the past, tell her about it if you feel comfortable. Ask her a question about something you've gone through and see if she has ever experienced it.
