Q: I am doing a project about the novel "Their Eyes Were Watching God" and I need help on two things.
1. I am doing a poster on "Inner vs. Outer Self" of Granny. So far, I have: "protected", "strong", and "materialistic" for outer self. For inner self I only have "broken".
Does anyone who has either read the book or seen the movie have any ideas for more words?
2. I also need to do a poster to show the point of view the novel is written in. I am supposed to show that it is written in the third person, but when people speak, it is in the first person.
example: Janie walks down the street and stops to pick a flower. (
1) im pretty sure you can come up with more on your own for this one.

2)if it says "she says" in the book, its third person, when a person speaks, its just them speaking. Like they're not narrating the story, they're just in it. It's third person. Basicly, you're not making a poster from the characters point of view, but from an omnipitent point of view. I havent read the book, so I can't give you any good ideas, but im sure you can cook something up.

did not help one bit. you should have just not answered.

Basicly, I have an opinion, and everyone has the right to hear it :D
