i have this grandma SHE is a total neat freak and sometimes just plain wierd she will not let me watch pg13 movies even though im 15 so when my mom buys me one we have to keep it a secret. when im with her all day i juat cant wait to get away . i still love her though. and after christmas me my mo and her are going to tenneessee for 10 and when my mom drives she pretends there is a fack brake petal and pushes her foot down. now tell me how will i stand her for 10 days straight? i RATE HIGH!!!!!!!!!!! What you need to do is get a personal CD player, lots of batteries and something to keep your mind occupied while you're with your grandma. I have to deal with this kind of thing every summer, and keeping myself busy and out of the line of fire is what works best for me. Your grandma is from a different generation than you are, and sometimes that age gap is really evident... Things that are perfectly acceptable in today's world were just NOT done in your grandma's day. That's to be expected, but it sounds like your grandma is having a hard time dealing with it. Definatly take my advice about keeping yourself busy, though.. Check out some good books at the library, or pretend to do your homework or something.
