Ok I wash my hair like every week because I put lot's of gel and stuff in it and I also straighten and curl different bits of it e.g. pack the back and do a little curly fringe at the front.any way I'm black so I have naturally tough hair but I permed it so it's straight but I've got a lot of split ends and my hair is always cutting but people are always telling me it looks good and I know it looks good and I like that but it only looks good because I use gel but I don't want to use gel any more because I want my hair to grow but how can I make my hair grow quick and still look good? I have the same problem. My hair is always breaking off. I condition it a lot. Every couple of weeks I'll put conditioner in my hair and go under the heating cap.Lately, I just leave it in for a couple of hours and then wash it out and it's better. It's annoying because I always have to straighten it and the perm breaks it off, but conditioner and cream (I use Mazani Cream) helps a lot. Different styles of corn rows always look good and it gives your hair a break from the heat from the straightner and from gel. Hope I helped
