Q: Snow is a whole new conception to me, so does anyone have any tips at all about jogging during the winter through the snow, ice, and slush?
Or, is it as simple as "carefully", or "don't"?

Treadmills are great for the winter! My dad is a runner and that is what he does for the winter months. If you don't have a treadmill, maybe join a health club like the YMCA or something like that. Or, if you have a good friend that has one, borrow his/hers. If there are trails where you live, consider running on those. In my town the trails don't have ice, so they're also great! For your issue with your face, they sell these silly looking things that look like a tube made out of fabric. It covers your face up to your nose. If you go to sports authority and tell them about it, they'll know what I mean.
