Is there anything that promotes you to get out of bed in the morning? I always feel so miserable getting up, and I need something to jumpstart my mornings. (link)

For probably 5 years, I've been searching for this answer, because I am the exact way. In the morning, I just feel tired and cold(or really hot) and miserable and I don't feel like doing anything except going back to sleep. Therefore, I'm sorry to inform you that there's really no help for us. When it comes down to it, your body needs a certain amount of sleep, and if it doesn't get that amount, it won't feel good. When you're getting up, the only way you're gonna feel good is if you're getting up for something that you want to do. If it's school or work, chances are, unless you love your workplace, you're not gonna be happy getting up.
If you're interested, I do have a technique that won't let you just hit the snooze and go back to sleep. Don't put your alarm by your bed. Put the alarm across the room, as far as it can be while still able to wake you up. This will make you get up and walk across the room to turn the alarm off, which will help a lot to wake you up. After that, you could always try jumping into a cold shower. Most unpleasant, but very effective. However, this really just comes down to willpower. Unless if you're resulting to drugs, this is really the only kind of thing that will work.
