Me and my boyfriend recently broke up, and he already has a new girlfriend. There's this guy I've been talking to, but we're only friends. We've hung out ALOT, and done some stuff. I have the choice to have sex with him, and I think I want to. But people say he has herpes, and I'm not sure if he does or not. Should I ask him? Or just go for it? And if I need to ask him..what do i say? (link)

If there are rumors that he has herpes, why would you even have to think about it?
He obviously uses girls, so why would you even want to be part of that?

I don't love him, and I'm not doing it to get back at my ex. I just like him and being around him. He's really nice, and he doesn't use girls. I know from a few of his past girlfriends. People say he got herpes from his ex, who has had sex with a few people. I'm pretty sure he doesn't, people only said he did because he had sex with the girl who does have them. But she got them after they had sex (i think). but thanks for the advice!
