Okay so I've been dating my boyfriend for about 3 months and I'm trying to figure out what I want to get him for Christmas. I've gone to the mall with him a few times and have seen things he wanted to get, but when I say, "Oh maybe I'll get you that for Christmas" he says, "No, I can buy that for myself" (since he has a great job). So what's a gift I could get that would set itself apart from other things? I mean, I want to get him something special but I can't think of anything that can't be bought at a mall.

Please Help!

P.S. I've already made him dinner once, so I don't want to repeat that so soon. (link)

Hi,

I suggest Gift Cards. You can go to Best Buy for example plunk down $100.00 for a card and he can use it for what he wants. CD stores also have them.

In this day and age movie tickets cost a fortune so a book of gift certificates from movie theaters would be welcomed. The same thing with bookstores, coffee shops etc. If I were you I would combine them with a dinner at a favorite restraunt.

Coupon books also work for promises you will grant etc (non sexual of course) or surprises that he tears off etc. Creativity, thought and love goes farther than anything material or store bought though. I'm sure you will figure this out Christmas is several weeks away.
