Okay well i have a fairly confusing situation, i went out with this guy for a long time for 6 months straight, and on and off until school went out in between girlfriends.. yeah i was pretty dumb back then but anyways he goes to a different school now and has a girlfriend but we sometimes still talk and every now and then i run into him somewhere... its realy weird seeing him and he brings up past times and stuff and it makes me miss him and stuff i know i cant go back to him.. and then i went to a party and met this other guy from a different school and we ended up hooking up but it was weird cuz it was the first guy ive hooked up with since my x and i never thought we would talk again until he imed me and now we talk all the time and says he likes me but i thought he liked this other girl but he swears there only friends and crap... well last nite i eneded up going to a movie with my x nothing happend but it was awkward and made me sad again. when i got home the other guy i met at a party called me and we talked until like 4 in the morning and he ended up asking me out and i didnt know what to say... i like him but i stil have feelings for my ex boyfriend and i cant get him outta my head and im just scared it will be different so i said wait till we hang out again and then we'll figure out what were going to do and he agreed with that. i guess im just scared to take a chance because i hate change and i dont wanna get hurt again but im really not sure what to do so if someone could help me thanks a bunch

Friendships and any relationships are mainly based on trust and communication. Why not talk to him about how you're feeling? You don't have to go down to the gory details but just that you don't want to get hurt and you're just confused. See what he says, it could turn out he really cares about you and wouldn't do anything to hurt you, unlike you ex..
