Volleyball is the one sport I love with a passion. I connect with it so well and I've played it for 5 years. This year, alot of conflicts came up that make me miss many practices, games, and tournaments. So, I talked to my coach about becoming team manager and helping out in practices and keeping score for the team during some games. Things like that. But, last year I sat out at every game because I was a freshman, and this year would be my time to play in games. It's hard for me, but I'm deciding to go with the team manager or actually try out and have the concequence of my coach really getting mad at me for missing so many pracitces... which one sounds better? Okay, here's the mature thing to you. You should schuedule a time witn your coach and explain all of this to him and give him an estimate of how many practices and/or games you might miss each month. If you explain this and talk to him and tell how much the team means to you, he might be okay with you missing that.

Basically, you need to talk to your coach about these two options and decide together which would be best for you and the team.

Good luck honey!
