to me, everytime a guy and me become close like almost to the point of g/f and b/f, i get like cold feet and i back out of the relationship. its not that i dont like the guy this is happening too, but its like i lead them on then i stop liking them once he likes me! i dont know whats wrong cuz in my head i have the perfect picture of me and the perfect guy as g/f and b/f but when the guy starts liking me, i back out. its like im afraid of commitment, but i know i want it. this is confusing but can anyone give me tips or advice to help me solve this?

Hey Doll,
It seems to me that you like "the chase" more than dating which is totally fine. I know a lot of girls that stop liking the guy once they know he likes them back. I am not sure there is much you can do to solve this problem other than just becoming someone's girlfriend (as long as you really do like them) and seeing how it goes from there. If you are afraid of commitment, then maybe you just aren't ready for it yet. There is nothing wrong with just dating different guys until you feel like you are ready for a boyfriend. If you think you are ready for a boyfriend, then just do your best to follow through with it instead of getting cold feet. Maybe you are scared of getting hurt. Just remember everyone gets hurt eventually by someone else but it's just part of growing up and learning from your mistakes. I hope your cold feet go away!
