Alright.
I'm usually a pretty good 'advice giver' but I'm stuck on this one.
I've been friends with this guy for about 4 years. There was a time in those four years that we.. well.. we liked eachother.
He asked me out.. but he dated my best friend, that's how we met, and I didn't want to hurt her in any way.
So, I said no.. and now.. he avoids me completely. Whenever I sign on to talk to him, he always makes up a bogus excuse.. like "I've got homework to do." (which he tells me EVERYDAY) and "I'm really tired.. I'll ttyl."
What am I supposed to do?! I mean.. I actually.. FEEL something for this guy.. HELP? (link)

i went through the same exact thing. GUYS DONT LIKE REJECTION. it happened twice to me, and ive lost them both, because they held it against me.
im sry to say, but theres nothing you can do. the more you try and talk to them, the more your just gonna get them mad. Dont sit there and blame yourself, you can explain to them till your blue in the face and theyre not gonna care!
Theyre stubborn and immature sometimes when theyre egos been shattered. The best thing you can do is leave him alone and move on. trust me, i know!

Thank you very much. It's hard letting go.. he's had 2 years to recouperate. And he tells me that he is still my 'friend'. Jerks.. lol
