First off...DON'T DO IT IN A NOTE. DON'T HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT. DO IT IN PERSON!!! its the only way for several reasons i won't go into. if you are shy, you need to just keep repeating to yourself that you will do it. And look him in the eyes and say. It may seem impossible but when you are in the moment it will feel great.
