Ok, I'm an advicenator and always hate the boy questions, because there's so many, but now I actually have one, haha. I really like this guy, Drew. Last year, he ate in my lunch and we had chorus together. We flirted a lot. Like, at lunch, we would feed each other french fries! He was a little goofy-looking, but I still liked him. He even asked me to the Snowball, but it got cancelled. Well, this year, I hardly ever see him at all. I've only seen him a couple times. And he really changed. He cut his hair, so it's short and he spikes it, and highlighted it, so it's lighter. He's also wearing preppy clothes now. What I'm trying to say is...he got really hot. I mean, I still like him, not just for his hotness, but that's a huge bonus. Well I tried asking him to Homecoming, but he already had a date. So I figured I'd just ask him to Sadies. Well his date for Homecoming asked him to Sadies already. I don't know what to do. I know they're not going out. I never felt this way about a guy, which scares me! My friend and I are thinking about asking him and my other friend Sam to the movies next Saturday. What should I do???? I like him so much!!! Oh, and I'm pretty sure he knows I like him already.

Actually, this letter is relatively short compared to the ones I have seen. Your problem is simple. You both liked eachother last year and a dance got cancelled. After that neight of you expressed interest in dating the other and hardly saw eachother at all and or phoned one another. Then he got super hot, you want him bad etc.
That's called a crush and LUST. You are lusting after something you want or cannot have and drooling like a dog with dinner left on the counter and not served yet. You wanted him and could have had him but cannot and just because he shows up with spikey hair and making your heart pitter patter he may not remember you or feel the same way as you were never friends or anything more.
He has a girlfriend and regardless of what anyone says a steady one being the girl to always be with him on a date. Hon, there is no chance right now between you and him and your only chance both of you decided not to take after that dance.
You will not be sucessfully in attempting to get a date to the movies with him or period. Your time came and went, he likes this other girl, and that is is it. Go to the movies with your friends and enjoy yourself but try to get over this guy all you can do is be his friend if anything right now with his mind on this other girl.
I would hate to see you get hurt and rejected by him over being in love with someone you cannot have. It is best to drop it now than later.

We still see each other sometimes, and he still flirts with me, and he already said she's not his gf. But thanks for the concern.
