Q: Hey im only a freshman, but i am so determined to go to college..i missed a week of school to have suregy, but i got right back on the work, and have an A in science an A in band and were gonna get our "progress reports" for algebra today, im hoping its an A. If not ill have to raise it.
But october 14th (next firday) we get term report cards. I REALLY want a 4.0 because i would really like to go to a good university..but im wondering can your jr high school grades affect your college resume in any way? I always got like a 3.0..and i even failed algebra in 8th grade..im hoping thats not gonna bring me down. Please help me, i searched colleges online and i dont really see anyone that checks jr high gpa.
*will rate high*
No, junior high does not count towards college. The two most important years that you are going to want to focus most on are your junior and senior year of highschool. But maintaining a fairly high GPA all through highschool will def help you out.

Thanks!
