Hey everyone! I want to host a New Year's party, but I need serious help. It should obviously be a sleepover, but should I make it coed and have the guys just leave at midnight and then the girls would sleep over? What could we do? I don't want it to be boring, and I have a huge backyard. I am a girl, and I want the party to be of about 40 people. I would want 25 girls and 15 guys, because I know more girls. Can you help me? All that is different in one of these parties is the damn date and the fact everyone is too hammered to even realize it when it comes around. All you really need to do is the standard party idea. Just buy enough food, pretzels, chips and doritoes and the stupid party souvineers like the 2006 glasses, streamers, noise makers. Bottom line--you will rember it and they won't being loaded. I do hope you consider a no booze policy--you are in trouble if they get into trouble at the party or outside of it. Keep beer off your premiseses and shoot for a manageable number of people. 50 people out of control drunk is a bad scenario to be in.
