way back when; i had a friend and he was the best thing in my life. i could tell him anything and he would always take up for me and i was always there for him in his times of emotional needs. But he was one of the guys everyone liked because of his looks and they didnt take the time to know him. But the next school year we didnt talk. in the hall he would just smile at me like I was some adult or something which made me feel akward because he was like the best thing ever for me. Well another year later which is currently he always looks troubled walking around school and he always lets people put him down like all of the pretty girls and they hurt him so much and I love him like a whole lot and hate to see him like that. I want to talk to him again so should i start sitting with him at lunch or write him a letter or what? I really want to be a part of his life again but i am just not sure how to approach him... if you could help me that would be really great and i would highly appreciate it I need you guys ok? :(

you've totally got the right ideas, because the longer you wait, the more distant you two are going to get. bridge the gap asap, just sit him down, anytime, anywhere, and tell him everything you just told us. he likely needs you as much as you need him.
