Hey.. I am a 17 year old female.. And I am really REALLY stuck between these two guys. {D and G}.. I really like them both, me and "G" have more in common though. BUT my parent's don't want me to date "G". They like "D".. And I am not allowed to see "G" (Sorry if I am not making any sense!) I really really like them both though, and the both are really nice guys. The thing is, "G" keeps asking me out, and he knows that I like him... And I would love to go out with him again.. BUT... "D" is a person that I don't have to hide from my parents, and I don't have to lie about.. But I am really stuck, because I think I like "G" more... What should I do?!? (link)

I'm sort of in your same situation. You should try to talk to your parents about dating G. If you have more in common with him, and it seems like you like him more anyway. Tell your parents how much you like this guy, and ask them why they don't like G. Your parents shouldn't tell you who to go out with, it's not right.

The thing is, they hate G... They will NEVER allow me to date him until I am 18 which isn't for another year... I already lied to them before about dating him a while back, but thanks for the advice. It means a lot.
