Q: Okay, for the past..6 years my sister and I have been trying to get a dog. But all my mom says is no. I don't think my dad would mind just as long as it didnt shed. She Court [[my sister]] and I have found numerous types of dogs that are SO cute AND don't shed. All my mom says is I'll consider it. It's on all of our Christmas/Birthday lists but nothing happens. We want a dog sooo bad. Please help! And by the way, I've tried to say I'll take care of it..that didnt work either =( I RATE HIGH

Show your parents how responsible you are do extra chores, spend more time on your homework, read some books etc. do this for a few months ( if you've been waiting your whole life for a dog a few months shouldn't be a problem) so your parents won't suspect anything and then ask your parents for a dog don't bring up anything about but I have been the best daughter ever etc. etc. Simply say Mom, Dad can I have a well bred canine. I'm sure I can take care of it etc. etc. something like that. I'm sure they'll let you but if the answer is no there might be a big reason why they won't let you have one!

I love to read, i clean my room, and I do all my chores! But you might be right on the big reason part.
