Could you try and hint to him? Ask him to see a movie, out for some food? You don't have to outwardly tell him you like him, but just make it clear?
Maintain eye contact, talk to him a lot, laugh at his jokes, spend lots of time with him.
I know it's hard, but keep it up and he will realise soon enough!
