ok today i was supposed to go to the mall with a clsoe friend of mine except the person that was goin to take me is in LA right now and CANT take me today.. except me and my guy friend have been watin forever for this day and really want to go btu there is no way i need to tell him i cant go the easiest and nicest way possible.. how can i do this ?? thanks (link)

Just be honest. Tell him you're sorry but you can't go today since your ride went to LA instead. Then suggest you go another time. I'm sure he'll understand that these things happen.
