i am just wondering why people put lemon juice in there hair. i am not bein mean but i just wanna know what it does

Most normal people DON't put lemon juice in their hair...... however, girls that BLEACh their hair to within an inch of it's life put lemon juice in their hair to stop it from going ginger!!! They also put Tomato Ketchup in their hair (if when they have home-bleached and they have washed it in the wrong shampoo!!!) when it goes slightly green-ish!!! Cos it balances the colour out
