I have an OBGYN appointment next Monday @ 3 o' clock and I was just wondering what all they do because my mom told me that at first they were just going to talk to me and I wouldn't have to have a pap smear but now that she knows about me losing my virginity to my boyfriend *that I am still with* she told me that now I would have to have a pap smear...is this true? Does it hurt? I just want to know everything about it before I go. I rate HIGH for good answers, please no foolish things like look it up unless you have a really good website. Thanks in advance! hey my names Ashley. Okay, now I've never been to the gyno myself, but a nurse has come to our school and told us step by step what they do. Okay your mom's right first they are going to ask you some questions with your mom with you, then with just you and the doctor in case you want to change your answers. If they give you a pap smear, have no fears...it is completely painless! Everything that they will do will be completely painless. It also won't take long at all for them to finish their business with you down there. At most probably like 2 or 3 minutes if that. You have nothing to worry about. Good Luck!
