Well if he is being a total jerk to her then he cant possibly like her. i would tell her not to waste her time with this guy. "THERE ARE OTHER FISH IN THE SEA" He was probley just lying to her about the whole i like you too thing. she should get over him go out with another guy to make the jerk jelous then see what he has to say.
