I'm funny, smart, athletic, entergetic, and outgoing. I love to give other people advice, including adults. My friends call me advicegirl because whenever someone needs advice, I'm always there to give it. No matter when or where, I will be able to give advice to the people, for the people, and with the people. When you write to me if you put ,"Dear so and so," make so and so Bratz-girl because I like Bratz. Thank you for asking me a question and return to my column soon. Thanks and have a wonderful and blessed day!

ok i have a boyfriend, the thing is im not supposed to yet, but i really really like him but i know if i told my parents my dad will like ground me forever and never let me date agian. ever. and my bf is going to a new school that they built, and everyone is either going or staying well im staying but he is going. so should i just wait till the school year starts to break up with him? because i know we will break up after that because long distance or just across town relationships dont ever last.
but, what should i do?

thanks! (link)
This a really tough question, but I can help. Uhm, lets see. You should know that if you really love each other, a long distance relationship might last. If not, you should try talking to your boyfriend and listening to what he thinks. If you hear each other out, it just might work out well for you. Otherwise, break it off with him before your parents find out what you've been up to. Thanks and please ask me a question in the near future.
