we all have the same problem and i am sure he is afraid to call you to. When you first talk to him say hi ask him hows he's been and all. Tell him you like him. That might be hard to say but it is easier then telling him directly. I had the same problem but i just started talking then he went right on talking instead. I hope everything works out.
