Q: I just had to put my cat to sleep due to blindness and its hard for me, because hes older than i am!!!!! he's 17 years old and i've had him since he was born. he was just the sweetest cat ever and he was sort of my best friend. does anyone have any tips of how to make this pain go away??
sorry i sound so dumb...lol. please help!!

First, why did it get put to sleep just because it is blind? Was there other complications?
Anyway, it's always hard to lose a family member like that...you've known this cat your whole life and it's natural to go through the grieving process. There really is no way to make it "go away", you could focus on the fact that he is more comfortable now or make a collage of photographs to remember him by.

i put it so sleep bc he was peeing on the carpet and stuff. i couldnt let him go thru life like that. but i rated u a 5
