I'm going to prom on the 23rd but I haven't gotten my period yet. I think I might get my period by that date. It makes me worry because I don't want to screw my new dress up with blood. It's not tight at the bottom, it's like a layered skirt that's kind of full looking. I'm going to be out from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM for the dinner and the festive events or whatever, should I use pads or tampons? Pads are kind of gross, they make me uncomfortable because I'm afraid they'll move, but if I wear tampons I'm not sure if I'll remember to even change them during prom and I don't want to risk TSS. What should I do?

I would try a tampon. Bring a cute purse with you, and bring a few extra tampons in there. Trust me, you'll remember to change it. Maybe you could tell a friend to remind you every 4 hours or so to check and see if you need to change it. If you change the tampon every 8 hours or less, you don't have to worrry about TSS. xo
