I'm going to prom on the 23rd but I haven't gotten my period yet. I think I might get my period by that date. It makes me worry because I don't want to screw my new dress up with blood. It's not tight at the bottom, it's like a layered skirt that's kind of full looking. I'm going to be out from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM for the dinner and the festive events or whatever, should I use pads or tampons? Pads are kind of gross, they make me uncomfortable because I'm afraid they'll move, but if I wear tampons I'm not sure if I'll remember to even change them during prom and I don't want to risk TSS. What should I do?

Hey! I would wear a tampon. You'd only have to change it 3ish times, saying that you change it every 5 hours. Dont worry about getting TSS though. If you're seriously worried about remembering to change, perhaps you could ask a trusted close (girl) friend to remind you.
