Why aren't you supposed to do sit-ups/crunches everyday? How many should a beginner do? Any other ideas to tone your stomach? (link)
i never heard that you shouldnt do crunches everyday?...but if you want to start toning your stomach then start with maybe 20-30 crunches a day for a girl, and maybe 30-40 for a guy. then do that for about 3 days then add like ten for a couple days, etc. also, i run everyday without any breaks, which is very important, and my brother said it would have results in about 2 months. i started running for 15 minutes everyday after school, with 30 crunches, and kept increasing the minutes and # of crunches each week. that should start results in about 1.5-3 months if you keep it consistant.tell me how it goes!
