I love helping others. I may be young & to be honest I have NOT experienced everything there is to experience, but nonetheless I am a good listener. I am creative & intelligent, so I can hopefully give you some helpful advice. =]
advice
Hi ive been finding it really hard to sleep for the last few days, can anyone give me some advice on how i might be able to get a few hours at least of sleep thank you..
ill rate hight for good answers
This use to happen to me as well, so I know just how you feel. I don't know if they will work, but try these few tips:
1)Go to sleep at the same time each night. Your body will eventually recognize this pattern, probably making it easier to fall asleep.
2)Avoid caffeine for at least 8 hours before you go to bed.
3)Do not watch tv or go on the computer right before you go to sleep, becasue they cause brain stimulation.
4)Read in bed until you feel sleepy.
5)Have a little snack, such as (this may sound funny) warm milk or turkey (they have natural sleep inducers called L-tryptophan).
6)Don't exercise right before bed, the morning is a better time.
7)Avoid emotional upset or stressful situations prior to bedtime, or you will think about them and not be able to fall asleep.
Sweet Dreams!
