Q: Hi, im 14/ m and I just want to know what to do about me and my girlfriend, we have been going out for a year now and were across states. We always talk on the phone and we have gotten really close. But I am just wondering if when me and my girlfriend meet, Im worried that she will push me away. And Im afarid of that, does anyone halft to say anything about this...?
You met her online, didn't you? Are you even sure she's your actual girlfriend? Is that just something you say because you talk to her on the phone more often than you do most of your friends, and before you hang up you both say "I love you?" If you haven't met, most likely you're not actually together. Even if both of you agree that you are, the only true test is to hook up, because there is a world of difference between a chat box in MSN or a voice down the phone and the person in the flesh.

Now obviously I don't know the whole situation, and for all I know you've actually met in person before, but if so why would you be afraid of being pushed away? Or maybe you met before you "got together" and haven't seen each other since. Regardless, my advice to you is to just meet her, don't get to hung up about what will happen when you do, and hopefully it won't suck. Worst case scenario is that you're both so nervous it doesn't work out, but even then you've still got a cool phone friend and you're only 14 so there's plenty of time to find someone better.

ok, you obviously do not understand this. Thats fine, most people do not understand online relationships because they don't understand them, we are boyfriend and girlfriend, whether we agree or not. We are more than "cool phone friends" we have sent pictures, I know his family, he knows mine. We don't just talk on the phone "often" we talk basically 24/7. And yes, I know 14 is a young age, but we are boyfriend and girlfriend, if you were in a serious one, and I mean serious, not just "hello" "goodbye" "hey baby" never talk on the phone or hardly ever serious, I mean serious like they love you and they take their time to know you, and always want to be apart of your life serious. But you probably will not find another guy like this because they are cheats. Thank you for an honest opinion, thats very appreciated, I am not one of those people who push away the cold hard truth, I take it, and move on with my life just like you will.

I consider myself uniquely qualified to give advice, because my own life is a shambles and I have never been able to attain what I desire. Or wait... maybe that makes me bad at this sort of thing... I can never tell.

Anyways, I'm pretty big into theatre and writing and getting high on life in all sorts of spectacular ways. Just ask me anything and we'll see how we go, shall we?
