About mylinhthan

[x][edit] - Since being on Advicenators there have been a lot of repetitive questions and innane ones at that. Because of this, I will not be answering as many questions as I had before. To put it simply, some people need to think for themselves. To learn things in life we have to fall down from our hardships, learn from them, and get to our feet again. People aren't just going to spoonfeed you on how to live your life.
To conclude, I'm a level-minded columnist who's not likely to judge. Although I may not understand some situations due to lack of experience, I am an understanding person and will do all I can to help. To people who are "not the brightest crayon in the box", I may appear blunt and brutally honest. Stupid questions deserve stupid answers.
And yes, stupid questions DO exist.

It feels like everything I do doesn't make a difference. I always feel like screaming and running away. I feel like running away from my problems all the time, but I know I will never get anything solved if I do get away. What should I do when I get down like that? Also, when I feel like running away...I feel like killing myself, too. What should I do?

Here are some suggestions:
-Go for a walk around the park to clear your mind.
-Pretend your a kung-fu master and punch holes in cardboard boxes (believe it or not, it helps! doesn't hurt the knuckles either!)
-Go to the gym and work the stress out.
-Write in a journal.
-Call up a friend for emotional support.
-Start a hobby of painting and paint your feelings on the canvas.
Basically, just be productive. It's not worth running away or hurting yourself over. What I do when I'm in that kind of situation is go for a walk or sit down and realize how lucky I have it. I mean, yea I get pissed at my mom and dad, but I still have my mom and dad. Some other kids are less fortunate and are either orphans or have divorced parents. You're very fortunate for what you have, and although you feel you don't make a difference, you don't have to. Don't do things to prove to someone that you are capable, do it for yourself, for your own benefit. Cuz after all, you know that you won't let yourself down.
Watching the Spongebob Movie helps me a lot too lol. It makes no sense but it's hilarious! That, or you can email me if you'd like someone who can relate and talk to.
I hope this helps and cheer up! :)
