Hey, can anyone give me symptoms of strep throat? I think I might have it. My throat has been hurting really bad the past 3 days, my nose has been stuffed up, my head hurts, and my stomach hurts...ick. Thanks a bunch!

I just got over that at christmas! Ok your throat will be a very bright red and you may have pustules on the back of your throat which you can see if you open your mouth say ahhhh and look with a flashlight.You will also have a fever ever 101. When you go to a doctor they will give you a strep throat test, this is where they swab the back of your throat and test it for Group A Streptococci. If you have it they will most likely prescribe pennicillian that you must take for 5-10 days. Here is a website that will provide you with alot more info! http://health.yahoo.com/news/44371
