Hi guys,
Me and my husband have just moved into a new house...well, I say new, but it's actually ANCIENT. So ancient that we have no heating whatsoever!! The place was so expensive though that we can't afford to install heating for at least another year. The windows and doorways are all draughty too. So, my question is, as it is so cold at the moment, any tips of keeping warm other than the obvious 'put on another jumper'? (link)

When my parents first got together, they bought a "make your own rug" kit and used to sit on the sofa and make this rug. It took their minds off the cold and also covered them whilst they were making it. Failing that, hot water bottles and lots of hot chocolate :o)
