I auditioned for drama and I am only a townsperson. I was so confident cause all mi friends were like "you will get the best part". Were they lying to make me feel better?

Well dont come to conclusions and say they were lying. How are they supposed to know how well other ppl would do? When other people give you good feedback, it makes you feel better, and gives you more courage to do better. How do u think you would feel if they said...."oh you dont stand a chance?" Do you think you would have even tried out? You should be greatful you have friends who care for you and believe in you.
