my friend has been cutting her wrist now for a few months. im so worried about her and she wont stop. she is definitly going to kill herself if she doesnt get stopped. i cant tell on her because i trusted her not to tell on me when i used to cut but now its totally different. i see how it is when your friends life is resting on your hands. i want to tell but i dont even know who to tell. PLEASE HELP.. IM BEGGING YOU!

You seem like a good friend & I think you are in a position to help your friend lots because you used to cut and can understand your friends feelings.
Sometimes it is tough to know whether you should tell someone (if you did tell someone your school councillor or a youth leader would be the person to tell). Just remember self harm is different to sucide . It is still of concern though.
In my opinion if your friend is cutting but not sucidal you should not tell anyone because TRUST in a friendship is very important. However if your friend is seriously sucicidal there comes a point when you do need professional help & in this case, your friends life is of more value than keeping this a secret.
Maybe you can share with your friend how you were able to stop cutting. I think this will help alot.
I think the main thing you should do is just let your friend know that you are alwayz there for her.
