A bunch of my friends cut themselves..but for no reason..they just do it because they want attention and they want people to feel sorry for them. They always talk about how depressed they are and how much life sucks for them, and it's not true at all. Because one friend started to cut herself, the other friend started too as well, and now another one is on the verge of cutting herself. They all do it for attention and I'm positive of that, and they drive everyone crazy. I'd like to just not be friends with them anymore but I don't want to see them get hurt, and they won't listen to anyone when theyre told to stop. What should I do to make them realize how stupid they're being without actually giving them the attention that they're cutting themselves for? If they're given the attention they're cutitng themselves for, then they'll just do it again. If we all just ignore them, they could seriously hurt themselves.. please help. Thanks. (link)

a lot of people cut themselves for attention but their not getting the attention they need. Don't take it apon yourself to stop them tell the counselor and tell him/her not to say who told. Then they'll get the attention they want ;-) hope i helped
