ok my horse was injured in the hoof.today my mom talked to the vet when i was at school and they agreed to put shoes on him :'(. and we allways said we weren't going to put anyshoes on cause he has never had them cause his feet r so strong!nobody listens to me!ok so if they have shoes once they have to have them forever!am i right ?please help quickly!

ok my neighbor has two horses and they have shoes in the summer but not in the winter (since we ride indoors) dont worry... both of them have very healthy feet... your horse wont have them forever if it has them for now... it might be a good idea but its not terrible... shoes are not permanent... the farrier comes about every 6 weeks(you might wanna check on that i might be wrong) to put on new shoes or take em off or whatever... dont worryy and shoes are good for horses! it makes their lives a lot easier... the reason for shoes is that they are hauling people around all the time so they just need some extra support... hope i helped!
