Ok there is this guy that I am friends with, and I found out that he likes me. Good right? No you see I am friends with his ex and she says she still loves him. he never talks to her or anything. he says that she couldn't handle just being friends and that he only treats her like that because she acts like that. I don't want him to treat me like that if we were to go out and break up, he says that he wouldn't,but I don't know if I believe him. And there is one more thing I have a boyfriend. we don't go to the same school and I was thinking about dumping him anyway,but I just dont know what to do. So should I dump my boyfriend for my friend?

Hi!:) Wow, this is a toughy... i went through something very very similar between one of my best guy friends and one of my girl friends. Honestly i think your best bet is to just forget it. I know that it sucks, but i tried it out and it did nothing but ruin mine and my best guy friend's relationship we don't even talk anymore and it just crushes me. It's been abouta year and i still can't stand the fact that i gave in and that we don't talk anymore. i honestly get upset all the time. It just didn't work out being such good friends and then trying ot make it more. Also you don't want to jeopardize your friendship with your girl friend. Girls should be your top priority even if you really like a guy, chicks before dicks right!! ;) Yeah i learned that the hard way, but me and my friend got through it, not that i can say the same for my guy friend and I. I think that it will cause you way too much drama and pain then it is worth. If you're happy with how things are going wtih your friends right now don't risk messing everythin up over something that can be potentially worthless. That is my best answer from personal experience so i hope that it helped!
