About Santa

JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, I AM NOT POSTING ON ANYONE'S COLUMN ASKING WHAT THEY WANT FOR XMAS. I'M AFRAID THAT IS A FAKE SANTA!

I'm Santa. :)

I'm here for you to tell me what you want for Christmas. I may indeed grant your wish, as long as you're on my Nice List. If you're not..I'm afraid I can't fill your request.

Merry Christmas!

I have been working for a company for about a year and a half. Last Christmas time I got a bonus of $20. This year, when I was really depending on that small bit of bonus, I got nothing.

The company recently sent a letter to all of it's employee's scolding us on leaving early. I was one of the people who had left early sometimes. I haven't done it since, but could that affect my Christmas bonus?

I know it isn't that the company can't afford it.

What I'm wondering is what the proper thing for me to do would be. Would it be uncalled for if I asked them about a bonus? I need to call them before Friday about working on Christmas, so should I just ask about my pay on Christmas weekend, and if there will be a bonus at the same time?

Should I just ignore it and decide that they decided to not give me a bonus this year, or treat it as a mistake on their part and ask them about it.

I'm just not sure if I would be out of line in some way if I ask them about a bonus.

Just wait. Good things happen to good people, and you seem extremely well thought out. I'm certain you're on the Nice List this year!

Santa :)
